We headed out to the Winter Jam 2009 in Manhattans east river park Same place that the Red bull Snow-scrapers was held on Thursday Feb 5th. We spent time shooting video so those who were not there. The day was fun the snow was slow and prevented the riders from performing to there full potential.
A bunch of my family friends and I went to the canyons in Utah. We have been a lot of different places and the snow out in Utah was just out of this world. I will never forget that time when we were snowboarding in waist deep powder. We where there the day before as well.
Heliboarding can be a blast when it comes to picking a company maybe not so much. lots of searches endless hours looking them over. Well I know a secret her name is Nina and she owns Heliski Holiday or also known Heli Holiday she is unique in a way can match you with the right company for your group or party.
I think that it may be that he is smart lets face it he cant ride forever. the only problem I see is Target it would have been nice to keep in the Board shops. The big picture is that good may come in the form of gaining more kids into the sports that Shawn loves.
This up coming year is going to be Epic we will be doing more Traveling,more Events,videos we are so excited to be working with Chill.org a group of Pro Snowboarders from Colorado and an Artist who is doing amazing things, to show the world in art what Chill.org and his art is all about.
Snowboarding Stories went to Breckenridge, Colorado, to cover a Spring Massive Festival. We went to local shops to give our t-shirts and collect some video stories. Here is one of those, from a local rider named Jeff.
Spring massive is under way At Breckenridge and it has dump huge amounts of snow with 1-2 ft on the way for Wednesday into Thursday the riding has been great. Our first day it was snowing hard. We headed to peak ten to ride in the Burns the snow was blowing lightly when we entered just as we got going the winds picked up to the point where we could not see anything and had to bunker down for ten minutes. After a while we stared to head back to tghe trail so we would be safe it was not worth the risk we were disappointed but we knew that today would be a great day for the Burns and it was. we also hit the imperial bowl and got to ride epic conditions. More snow on the way it will only get better Spring massive is off to a good start.
What once had to be hiked to to enjoy great riding at the top of Breckenridge is now accessed by the new Breckenridge Imperial Express Chair lift. This could not happen at a better mountain the air is thin and the hike was a tough one now this is no longer a worry just sit down and enjoy the ride to the top of teh mountain.
